Management
The Casarabonela City Council is in charge of the management and direction of the Botanical Garden. Being aware of its botanical and touristic importance, it takes great care and whichever steps are appropriate for its continuous improvement. The town of Casarabonela is proud to include this important natural venue, and its aim is to make it known internationally as the botanical reference that it really is.
María del Mar Trigo
Scientific Advisor
Professor of the Plant Biology Department of Malaga University, María del Mar is a true devotee of cacti and succulent plants. She professes a true devotion to her work and her knowledge makes her an important asset for the care and preservation of the Garden.
Antonio J. Plaza
Curator
Antonio is licensed in Enviromental Science and he has been at the garden since its opening. The love he professes for his work and fantastic service can be seen in each plant. He is a hard worker and has a vast knowledge of the cacti and succulent plant world within his daily work, he is responsible for making the Garden look as wonderful as it does.
